About the Gala

Join us in celebrating the power of building community through shared history. Our Annual Spring Gala benefits exhibition and community programming for Solano County and beyond. Community supporters, stakeholders, members, and donors will enjoy a night filled with whimsy and awe led by a particularly mad Hatter! The evening includes a seated dinner, an honoree program, auction, and afterparty.

Your Impact in Action

History and culture education is crucial to creating dialogue that bridges divides across socioeconomic, racial, and class lines- supporting a more collaborative community with shared values and a willingness to work together to solve issues that affect us all. K-12 history and culture education is specifically important for fostering civically engaged young people. When they care about where they’ve come from and have knowledge of the past, they care about their future and have the tools to imagine a better one.
Due to the generosity of our donors, we have already hosted groups from the Boys and Girls Club, homeschool programs, and adult day care facilities at the museum this year for an education program centered around our current exhibit, How Bizarre: Curious Collections. Program participants learned about different jobs within a museum, how exhibits, collections, and artifacts are cared for by museum staff, and speak with our very own curator about what it’s like to working in a museum. Your support truly has a direct impact on the lives of young people in Solano County. Thank you for choosing to be partners with us in bringing history and culture education to our community!
