Jack is Back in Vacaville and has been seen in windows all over town. Now the 23 decked out bunnies are migrating back to the Vacaville Museum in hopes of winning the coveted “People’s Choice” crown.
The Jack is Back People’s Choice Parade is Saturday, March 27, from 10 am to 4 pm, outside in the Museum courtyard. Event attendees will get a close up look at the colorful creations, hand-designed by area artists, and choose their favorite. The Jack with the most votes is crowned 1st place winner along with 2nd and 3rd place prizes for the artists. Winners will be announced on The Jack is Back and the Museum’s Facebook pages.
Jack is Back is a public art project of the Vacaville Museum featuring unique one-of-a-kind art pieces including “Ms. Butsin”, a brave female firefighter Jack, and “Hope”, a tribute to those fighting cancer. Once the People’s Choice winner is selected, the Jacks will be auctioned and adopted into their forever homes. All proceeds from Jack is Back benefit the Museum, its programs, and the continued preservation of Solano County history.
Masks are also mandatory for guest safety. The event is free, and donations supporting the Vacaville Museum will be accepted. For more information, please contact the Museum at (707) 447-4513.
