Sponsored by Wanda Cook, Donna & Jay Fox, Gregg & Cathy Zadnik, Gary & Christine Zadnik
Performing arts are creative expressions brought to life through movement, sound, and storytelling. Be it music, dance, theater, or spoken word; performing arts is meant to be experienced live, unfolding in real time before an audience. These art forms connect us to culture, community, and emotion, offering a shared moment between performer and viewer. They also serve as a powerful form of entertainment, captivating audiences, providing joy and escape, and turning everyday moments into memorable experiences. Performing arts taps into our deep need to create, to embody self-expression and to interpret the world around us. Performing arts can be found in some form or another in almost every community across space and time- including Solano County. Center Stage invites you to explore the evolution of performing arts in Solano County, where shifting cultural landscapes and the psychology of performance venues come together to shape the way we express, gather, and create. Performing arts remains an enduring outlet for creativity, emotion, and interpreting the world around us.
