Join the Vacaville Museum at Townsquare Library on August 11th, 2023 from 10 am until 2 pm for an exploration of Solano County history. Museum staff and volunteers will be in the ‘teen room’ with special artifacts, images, and stories throughout the day. There will be three scheduled presentations. The first one, starting at 10:30 am, will give a sneak peek at the upcoming exhibit, Fruit of the Vine, A Grape Story and explore the history of grape growing and wine making in Solano County. At 12:00 pm, there will be a presentation that is an overview of the history of how Solano County got started, and finally, at 1:00 pm a presentation will be given about what Solano County residents have worn over the centuries in the summer heat!
